We’ll design your internship to kickstart your consulting career.
Our internships have start dates every month that last anywhere between one and six months. So you can choose the consulting internship program that works for you.
Consulting is an international affair. Top minds and think tanks advise global firms as they operate across multiple continents. That means you’ll learn from consultants with a wide range of experience. Seoul itself has deep ties to other Asian cities, resulting in a constant stream of ideas, collaboration and innovation. The consulting experience you’ll gain here will be invaluable for your future career; yours will soon be a distinctly international perspective.
South Koreans are consummate professionals, and you’ll love working with these passionate and collaborative people. If you want to go far then dress smartly, work hard, and remain respectful.
While in Seoul, you’ll have the opportunity to boost your consulting internship with a skills workshop.
Here you’ll work with coaches to improve your skill-set. Go through exercises on leadership, communication, and more.
You’ll leave this session ready to take on every challenge your Consulting internship could throw at you!
In this tailored 1-to-1 session, work with a trained coach to consider your career so far. Use their guidance to look back on your achievements and successes, as well as your failures.
Of course, your schedule will be packed full of networking, trips, and dinners. So you’ll be able to pencil in this appointment at the right time for you.
Some prefer an early session to make the most out of their time in Seoul. This is a great way of getting in the right mindset for your internship. Others prefer an appointment half-way through their program; this is a good choice for a balanced meeting, to consider both your progress so far and your next steps.
Lastly, a session towards the end of your internship is a good way to look back on your achievements; and look ahead.
Of course, at any time in your program, you’ll have access to personalized career and interview advice. We’ll help you get your CV or resume up to scratch; or help you put together an eye-catching LinkedIn profile.
Access to an online portal of skills and employability resources is available to all of our interns. Take advantage of these during your time in Seoul.
Examples of the support we provide include:
– A personal development plan toolkit
– Online interview skills seminars

With so much culture on offer, make sure you leave time for food. If weather conditions are unfavorable, fret not, we’ll take you on a temple stay experience for you to fully immerse yourself in traditional Korean culture!
The rich traditions around the way Korean food is prepared, cooked, and eaten means you’ll have plenty to experience. You’ll be enveloped in the stories of this fascinating culture while cooking with our master chef.
The Hanbok is a traditional piece of clothing that beautifully reflects the essence of Korean heritage! Let our local community experts assist you in finding the ideal Hanbok, and even help you achieve an intricate hair-do in full Korean tradition!

Here’s what a typical Seoul internship looks like, based on a 6-week Consulting internship program.
After much planning and anticipation, you can’t believe you’ve finally made it to Seoul. Set foot in South Korea for the first time as you step off the plane; then meet us in arrivals and we’ll whisk you straight to your new accommodation.
How you choose to unwind on your first day is up to you. Some prefer to keep it low-key and relax in their accommodation or a nearby café. Whereas others hop straight on public transport and start exploring. Either way, join us on your second day for your orientation. We’ll prepare you for everything that awaits you in Seoul. Then meet your Beyond Community! Get to know each other over some sumptuous Korean food.
On your first day of work, remain polite and respectful at all times; you’ll soon impress your colleagues and manager. After a busy first day, you might want to unwind at a community dinner. Head out to a restaurant; or if the weather’s nice, grab takeaways and eat in a nearby park. Afterwards, jump on Seoul’s high-tech subway to get home.
You’ll face a range of new tasks and challenges throughout your consulting internship. So to get your skill-set up to scratch, why not take an early skills workshop? With guidance you’ll improve your core competencies, and perhaps learn some new ones too.
Lastly, begin looking forward to the trip to Andong. From its 600-year-old houses, to the retelling of the histories of the Ryu family from the Joseon Dynasty who lived in the village, you’ll have a seriously fascinating time.
As your Consulting internship progresses, you’ll start to feel increasingly comfortable in your role. Whether that’s assisting your colleagues as they interview clients; or drawing upon a range of sources to compile professional briefing documents. So now is a good time to head out to one of Seoul’s countless trendy cafés with your manager to discuss your progress so far.
You’ll have likely begun to build up your own network of contacts as you work in Seoul. But we’ll send you out an invite to a top industry event. Head along and make a good impression; you never know where it could lead!
By now, you’ve found your favorite spots to hang out with your Beyond Community in Seoul. Enjoy socializing together, whether you hit up karaoke bars or prefer to unwind at Common Ground (a shopping and entertainment center built from shipping containers)!
Before you know it, it’s time for your second trip. Get ready to experience a culinary culture like no other as you embark upon this food tour. Try it all, from authentic South Korean dishes to a range of fantastic international food.
You’ll be fully at home in your Internship now, so it’s a great time to look ahead.
If you’ve not done it already, make sure you fit in your 1-to-1 career coaching session. It’s a chance not many professionals get and lets you explore your dreams and ambitions. You can chat over the things you’re finding a little tougher, and set goals and plans for your future career success.
Lastly, begin looking forward to the trip to Andong. From its 600-year-old houses, to the retelling of the histories of the Ryu family from the Joseon Dynasty who lived in the village, you’ll have a seriously fascinating time.
