Weeks 1 & 2

On your first day of work, turn up nice and early to make a good impression on your colleagues. Then meet your manager, roll your sleeves up, and get to work! After a busy day, you might want to unwind at a community dinner. Swap stories with your new friends; if your first meal was classically British, why not try something international? Afterwards, hail down a black cab or catch an iconic red double-decker bus home.

Consulting is a varied discipline, and you’ll be regularly faced with new challenges. To properly prepare yourself, you might want to take an early skills workshop. With coaches and speakers you’ll hone your core competencies and learn some new ones too.

For your first trip, you’ll journey to the glorious city of Cambridge. Immerse yourself in this quintessential slice of English life; visit souvenir shops, museums, and cosy pubs!

Next, take a trip to London’s West End for unforgettable theater, delicious food, and a cocktail or two. You’ll take in a show and finish your evening with dinner and dancing!

Weeks 5 & 6

As your internship nears its end, think back on what you’ve gained. Professional experience and a cultural immersion like no other; and life-long friends for good measure. It’s certainly been an eventful six weeks! If you haven’t already, take some time out with a coach to assess your progress and chart out your future.
