With start dates every month, and lasting anywhere between one and six months, build the right internship program for you.
An interconnected global hub, you’ll thrive in London. With companies from around the world heading to this city to do business, it’s the perfect place to learn from the masters. Music tours, world premieres, high-class restaurants and hotels… the choice is yours. As you work hard and learn vital skills and tricks of the trade, you’ll also get to know others in this industry. A swapped email address can go far, especially in a sector as interconnected as this one. And if you need guidance or direction, we’ll be on hand to offer a tip or two.
You’ll love British work culture; while it might take a bit of getting used to, the learning experience is all part of the fun. Brits are professional and courteous in business, but love to loosen things up with a working lunch or post-work drinks. You’ll have the opportunity to build informal relationships after work, which will improve your work immeasurably.
In our meticulously structured skills workshop, you’ll build up your professional skills and abilities; all with the help of career coaches and speakers.
A typical workshop will include exercises on communication, team skills, and personal branding.
You’ll leave feeling reinvigorated and ready to tackle every challenge ahead of you.
In this exclusive coaching session, work with a professional coach to consider your career. Think critically about your strengths and weaknesses, as well as your aspirations.
Of course, your diary will be packed full of trips, dinners, and networking; so schedule this session at the best time for you.
An early appointment is a great way to prepare yourself the weeks and months ahead. Others prefer to take a session in the middle of their course; this is good for a balanced session to consider both your achievements and your future plans.
Lastly, you could take an appointment at the end of your internship. This is a good way of looking back and reflecting on what you’ve learned; as well as setting out a roadmap to land your dream job.
And at any time on your course, you’ll have access to personalized career advice and interview tips. We’ll help you perfect your CV or resume; or assemble a professional portfolio.
Our online resources are a great way to boost your employability and skills.
A few examples of the support we provide includes:
– A personal development plan toolkit
– Online interview skills seminars
– Sessions on communication or building your brand
– And many more useful resources you can access at any time
You’ll get practical experience in hospitality, events or tourism depending on your program. As an example, let’s take hospitality. Hospitality is a tricky industry. Notoriously fast-paced, you’ll be multitasking while ensuring everything goes off without a hitch. Here’s a few examples of the tasks you might undertake:
– Manage an agency’s website, run social media accounts and update listings on referral websites
– Research and compile itineraries for customers
– Develop event concepts and build relationships with supporters and vendors
– Work with the communications team to develop an effective marketing and social media strategy
– Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on event locations, materials and equipment needed
With the aid of your Beyond Community, London will quickly feel like your second home.

That means history lovers can indulge themselves in walking tours and historic buildings; while food junkies will head to Camden or Borough Market to discover the sumptuous range on offer. With a vast array of cafés and restaurants – from the high-end to the chic – you’ll uncover the place you can feel truly yourself.
And you’ll have the constant support of your Beyond Community while you work here. They’ll be the best friends you could possibly ask for; and when you look back on your internship, they’ll be the thing you miss the most.

Visit Cambridge, a beautiful English town. Beyond the world-famous university, there’s plenty to uncover here. Take a bus tour or visit local markets and restaurants for some delicious food; otherwise, try your hand at punting down the River Cam, or grab a kayak if you’re feeling adventurous!
Famous the world over, theater night will be an experience you won’t forget. Head to London’s Soho district for an unmissable show; large or small, musical or comedy, you’ll have an amazing time. Afterwards, cap off your evening with dinner and drinks in a world-class restaurant.
For food lovers, London will be a delight. Home to food from every corner of the globe, you’ll never be short of options. Follow a guide as you explore the back streets of London; start with Indian butter chicken, then try German schnitzel and Korean mandu.
Throughout the program, your London Community Coordinators will be with you every step of the way, providing you with support you need, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Here’s a glimpse at what a London hospitality internship might look like, based on a typical 6-week program.
After months of careful planning and preparation, you can’t quite believe you’ve finally made it to London. The next few weeks will be an unforgettable experience. But first, step off the plane and meet us in arrivals. We’ll take you straight on to your new home.
Your first day is entirely yours. So unwind in your accommodation, lay low at a nearby café to get used to your surroundings; or hop on the Tube and explore the city. Whatever you choose, you’ll meet us on day two for your orientation. We’ll soon get you up to speed with what awaits you. Then it’s time to meet your Beyond Community.
On your first day of work, turn up early and work hard to impress your new colleagues. Afterwards, you might want to relax at one of our popular community dinners. Your new friends will be waiting to hear how it went; debrief together before you hail down a black cab or hop on a red bus to get home.
Your hospitality internship will be tough and you’ll be faced with new challenges every day. So it’s a good idea to take an early skills workshop. Work with coaches and speakers to get your skills into gear; you’ll leave this session ready to apply your new knowledge.
Soon, it’s time for your first trip: Cambridge. Explore this hallowed city as you tread in the footsteps of figures like Isaac Newton and Stephen Hawking. Pick up a souvenir or two for friends and family back home before you complete your trip with a classic pub dinner.
As you progress in your internship, you’ll develop your skills and expertise. Whether that’s mastery of social media and advertising for your firm; or getting your organizational and time-keeping abilities into gear as you manage itineraries and logistics. Head out with your manager to a nearby café and review your achievements so far.
With a constant stream of professionals arriving from all over the globe, you’ll be regularly meeting top leaders in hospitality. So you’ll likely have made a few connections of your own. But to aid you, we’ll send out an invite to an exclusive hospitality industry networking event. Head along and pick up some new contacts!
Next, it’s your second trip. Take a visit down to the West End for a night filled with fun, theater, and food! Take in an amazing show and cap off your evening with dinner at a nearby restaurant.
Your internship is nearing its end, and you’re in a reflective mood. While in London, you’ve gained amazing professional insight into the hospitality industry. As well as a fantastic cultural experience, and friends for life. Not bad for six weeks. If you haven’t already, you’ll want to arrange your 1-to-1 career appointment. A professional coach will help you look back on your successes and failures; and they’ll assist you as you plan out your next steps.
It’s time for your third and final trip: a food tour. Explore the inner streets and alleys of London, all with the help of a guide. You’ll sample a range of delicious international food as you truly immerse yourself in the city.
You’ve got one last event to attend: your farewell dinner. Meet up with your community for one last time; there may be tears, but you’ll all look back fondly on the memories you share. Pledge to stay in touch and then say goodbye. Before you fly home, make sure you check off as many sights as you can. Head to the Victoria and Albert Museum to discover decorative art and historical design; or visit Kew Gardens to experience Victorian palm houses and amazing green spaces!
We collaborate with a diverse array of companies, spanning from boutique PR firms to multinational advisory firms. Please note that these examples are purely for reference. The specific company you’ll be associated with will be determined by a wide range of criteria.

“The City seems so much more in earnest: its business, its rush, its roar are such serious things, sights and sounds. The City is getting its living – the West-End but enjoying its pleasure.”
