Orientation
Take your first day settling in (and get over jetlag for those coming from afar!). You will be invited to a comprehensive orientation on your second day in the country, where we will tell you everything you need to know about the city and what to expect from the program in the coming weeks and months.
Welcome dinner
After the orientation, our welcome dinner will be the perfect opportunity for you to get to know your fellow interns better. Many of our previous interns have made friends for life during their internship programs!
Bi-Weekly community dinner
There will be a community dinner every few weeks to keep you in touch with everyone.
Every few weeks we will get everyone together for a fun evening of catchups and good local food.

We want you to feel at home during our program. Our Community Team will make sure you have an incredible experience, and be there whenever you need us.
Friendship and community go hand-in-hand in Thailand. An internship in Bangkok is challenging, but you’ll feel supported and empowered every step of the way.Our team is on hand 24/7 to help guide you through your time here, introduce you to the city, and answer your questions. Of course, other interns will all be keen to help get you settled in. They’ll become like a second family!

Ayutthaya Trip
The ancient capital of Siam, Ayutthaya was built around 1350. The Wats (temples) will leave you awestruck and the markets will dazzle you with bright sights and fabulous smells.
Cooking Tour
Learn the secrets of Thai cooking and how to spot the best ingredients in the market. By the end of this tour, your love of Thai food will be assured.
Floating Markets
A firm favorite with visitors, the floating markets are a vital part of the trading heart of Bangkok. By day or night, the floating markets are a must-see.

See what awaits you – here’s a snapshot of what it’s like to intern in Bangkok based on a typical 6-week program.
Weeks 1 & 2
The all pervading Thai culture is evident even at the airport. Suvarnabhumi (literally ‘golden land’) airport has some spectacular sights.
Once you’re into your accommodation you can start to acclimatize and find your feet. Join us for orientation and welcome dinner. Relax, meet other interns, and start making some new friends.
As you begin your internship there will be lots to take in, starting with the trip to work. The Skytrain is a great way to get around the city, or if you’re feeling adventurous – jump in a tuk tuk! Meet the team you’ll be working with and get to grip with the new office. After work drinks with our Community team will help you unwind and you can chat about your experiences so far in your new home.
The day trip to Ayutthaya will take place soon. Get ready to dive deep into the glorious history and demise of Thailand’s former capital.
Weeks 3 & 4
Meet your Manager over a Thai iced tea and get some feedback on your internship progress.
Businesses in Bangkok know the importance of networking and there are some great events. Our team will keep you up-to-date and send you invites.
Thailand is world renowned for its amazing cuisine and your market and cooking tour will let you see how the locals really do it. The blend of flavours achieved in Thai cooking is incredible and you’ll get to shop for the best ingredients and cook up a storm.
Weeks 5 & 6
With your internship in its last few weeks you’ll be having the time of your life and picking up skills and memories that will stay with you forever.
All these new ideas and skills will mean it’s a great time to do the 1-to-1 career coaching session. Talk to our professional career coach about your dreams and ambitions, and match them up to solid plans and goals. Map out your path to career success clearly.
You can’t leave Bangkok without visiting its famous floating markets. Join us on an authentic trip to Damnoen Saduak, take a ride on a long tail boat, and sample delicious local dishes made with recipes passed down through generations.
Enjoy some time with your new friends and spin tales of your adventures in Thailand at our farewell dinner.
The many friends and contacts you’ve made will stay part of your professional network. Before you leave Bangkok, take the time for one last authentic green curry.

We work with a few carefully selected partners in Bangkok. Mainly shared apartments and studios, we only provide options that meet our safety, quality and cleanliness standards. You’ll be living with fellow Beyond Interns, students and some young professionals. So it’s a great way to integrate with local community for those traveling from overseas.
You will get a studio or a private bedroom with shared communal spaces (kitchen, living spaces etc). All rooms come with bedding and Wi-Fi, and often have a desk. Locations can vary but you’ll always be well located and near public transport. Depending on your office location, we try to ensure your commute time is 30-60 minutes, which is pretty good for Bangkok.
Due to demand for short term accommodation and ever changing availability, we usually confirm your exact accommodation and location around 3-4 weeks before your start date.
