You’ll work with professional coaches and speakers to improve key skills and competencies.
Typical workshops will include exercises in communication, problem solving, and leadership. You’ll leave this session newly empowered to work hard and succeed.
In this one-to-one coaching session, you’ll reflect on your career and future plans. You’ll think critically about your strengths, weaknesses, and much more; all with the guidance of a professional coach.
Of course, your schedule will be packed full of meetings, dinners, networking events, and trips; so pencil this session in at the right time for you.
Some interns choose an early appointment to prepare themselves for the weeks ahead. This is a great way to get yourself in the right mindset for a professional internship. An appointment around the middle of your time in London is good for a balanced session; here you’ll look at both your progress so far and your roadmap for the future.
Otherwise, a final session at the end of your program is a great way to finish your time in London. You’ll look back at your internship in full, while also thinking about your next steps.

Your first trip is a journey to the quintessential English city of Cambridge. Home to the world-famous university, Cambridge is so much more than that. Cobbled streets and food vendors are a delight, as are the myriad souvenir shops. Try a punt down the River Cam, then finish your day with a pub dinner.
The West End is known across the world for its prestigious and dazzling theatrical output. So throw on your best clothes and get ready for a show like no other. Show-stopping musical, intense character drama, laugh-out-loud comedy; there’s something for everyone.
This immersive food tour will see you following a guide as you trek through London’s back streets and alleys. The city is one of the most diverse melting pots in the world, and that means constant discoveries and surprises when it comes to food! Try classic British fish and chips, Indian tikka masala curry, or Brazilian black bean feijoada.

When you step off the plane, savor the experience: you’re in a brand new country, and your adventure is about to begin. First up, meet us in arrivals and we’ll transport you straight to your new home.
Depending on your style, you’ll either spend your first day relaxing at home or exploring your new city. Either way, join us on day two for your London orientation. We’ll get you up to speed with everything that awaits you on your course. Afterwards, it’s time to meet your Beyond Community. You’ll quickly bond over the shared experience of life in a new city.
On your first day of work, head over to the office and make a good first impression on your colleagues. To unwind after a busy day, you might want to join your community for dinner; try something international, then grab the Tube or hop on an iconic red bus home.
You’ll be faced with regular challenges as you adapt to the rhythms of life as a law intern. So you might want to take an early skills workshop to prepare for the weeks ahead. Working with professional coaches, train your core competencies and emerge more skilled than ever.
Before you know it, it’s time for your first day trip so get ready! Journey to picturesque Cambridge to totally immerse yourself in a quintessentially English city; punt or kayak down the River Cam, purchase gifts for family and friends back home, then finish off your day with a delicious pub dinner.
As the weeks progress, you’ll grow more and more comfortable in your role. From taking detailed notes during client interviews to fully familiarizing yourself with all the latest legal judgments. Now’s a good time to head out with your manager and discuss what you’ve learned.

Your internship is drawing to a close, and you’ve been thinking back on your time in London. What have you gained? Not only practical professional experience and life-long friends and contacts; but an amazing cultural adventure too. You’ve grown so much in just six weeks.
So if you haven’t already, it’s a good time to schedule your one-to-one career appointment. With a professional coach, you’ll look back on your internship and think critically about what you achieved. You’ll also be able to plan out your next steps in detail.

We work with a range of carefully-selected accommodation partners throughout London that includes flat shares, student accommodation and co-living sites. We only provide options that meet our safety, quality and cleanliness standards, and all of our partners are located in commutable areas with links to the amazing transport system that London has to offer. Depending on your office location, we try to ensure your commute time is 30-60 minutes. Living arrangements involve sharing space with other Beyond Interns, young professionals, and students, fostering a fantastic opportunity to integrate into the local community.
You will get a private bedroom, and most accommodation options include a private bathroom and kitchenette. Some locations include shared living spaces, lounge areas, workspaces, cafe, gym etc. All rooms come with bedding and Wi-Fi, and often have a desk. Locations can vary but you’ll always be well located and near public transport.
As the demand for short-term accommodation is dynamic and availability can vary, we finalize the details of your specific accommodation and location approximately 3-4 weeks before your start date.
