Supported by our experienced coaches, make some time to attend an immersive workshop. You’ll work on professional skills and build your confidence for your internship ahead.
You’ll have plenty to work through, with exercises that will help you improve your abilities in everything from teamwork and leadership to communication and adaptability.
When you step out of the session, you’ll be ready to apply everything you’ve learned to your internship and beyond!
This 1-to-1 session will have you working with an experienced career coach. You’ll work together to develop a plan for your career journey by reviewing all of your experiences alongside your goals for the future.
A session booked early in your program will be great to help you prepare for the upcoming weeks. You’ll take time to consider what your goals are for your internship and time in Berlin and develop a plan to help you accomplish everything you set out to do. Or, you may prefer to get started and then meet with a coach. This will allow you time to get to know your responsibilities and what is expected of you; having a session now will give you a chance to reflect on what you’ve learned and devise a plan to get the most out of your remaining time.
You might even prefer to schedule a session as your internship is winding down. Take a look back on everything you’ve accomplished and plan for the future.

Make some time for yourself on your first trip; you’ll head off to Potsdam and envelope yourself in the fairy tale landscape. Whether it’s the quaint paths alongside the red brick houses of the Dutch Quarter or the palatial manicured gardens of Sanssouci Palace, you’ll quickly understand what makes this UNESCO World Heritage site so special.
Your second trip will have you exploring all the creative heritage that Berlin has to offer. You’ll wander through art galleries and museums, appreciating everything from centuries-old masterworks to contemporary pieces by up-and-coming artists. The moment is here – you’ve touched down in Berlin! We’ll be at the airport ready to meet you at arrivals and see you off to your new home away from home. You could take the rest of the day to get acquainted with your new space, or jump on public transport and take the city by storm.
Your first full day in Berlin will have you attending a thorough orientation; get all the information you need about what is in store for you over the next several weeks. Take a few notes about your new firm or ask questions about how to navigate the city; you’ll soon feel confident about your time in Berlin. Whether you make the journey to see the spectacularly shaped Bierpinsel building or take in the frights at Monster Kabinett gallery. This time is yours so get everything out of your remaining time in Berlin!

You might be placed in a shared apartment or in student accommodation living with fellow Beyond interns or other young professionals. If you’re traveling from abroad, this is a fantastic way to make friends and build a supportive circle.
You’ll have lots of communal living areas, including a kitchen, living room, and bathroom but you’ll also be guaranteed your own private bedroom equipped with Wi-Fi, bedding, and possibly a desk. The location of your accommodation will vary but we work to ensure you’re placed within 30-60 minutes of your internship firm.
We will confirm your accommodation about 3-4 weeks before the start of your Marketing, Advertising & PR internship. This is because there is a high demand for short-term accommodation and constantly changing availability.
