Our skills workshop is carefully designed to help you improve your professional competencies. With guidance from our experienced coaches and speakers, you’ll go through exercises that will help you start your professional life off right. Topics covered will include leadership, teambuilding, and so much more.
The session will have you feeling confident and ready for what lies ahead!
Review your experiences alongside a professional career coach. Working together, you’ll be guided to think about your strengths and weaknesses in order to help formulate a plan for the future.
When you decide to have this session is up to you. You might want to schedule it right away; the first few days of your internship are a great time to have this 1-to-1, as you’ll be able to prepare for the challenges ahead and set goals for what you hope to achieve. However, you might prefer to wait until you’re settled in. You’ll be ready to look at your progress so far and how to make improvements and achieve everything you can.
If you’d like to use your session as a chance to look back and reflect, you might set an appointment toward the end of your program. You’ll take stock of all you’ve accomplished and use that to land you your next role.
We’ll also provide you with individualized career guidance and interview support. Available throughout your internship, we’ll support you with all of your professional needs.
Learn a new skill and impress your colleagues by utilizing our online portal of resources and tools; these resources are available on-demand throughout your internship.

The real estate market can be an intense industry; you’ll juggle lots of competing priorities, and it’ll help if you’re a natural with multi-tasking. But you can learn so much just by staying organized and working hard; and of course, we’ll help ensure you’re successful. Some examples of the work you might be responsible for include:
– Assist in the appraisal management process for clients (including major banks, pension funds, and insurance companies)
– Identify and research inconsistencies/discrepancies in appraisal reports
– Compile quarterly market research reports
– Review ARGUS and MS-Excel valuations models for accuracy and detail
– Organize correspondence with external partners at architecture and interior design firms

Berlin is known for being a great place to experience arts and culture. You could admire the grand architecture of the Brandenburg Gate or the enveloping sounds of the Berlin Philharmonic – wherever you go in the city, incredible experiences are all around you. Germany is also known for its incredible food and you’ll find plenty of it here in Berlin, so take in the culture and find some delicious snacks. Make the most of your time here!

When you get to Berlin you’ll receive a comprehensive orientation. We’ll ensure you get all of the information you need for your program ahead of you, from information about your new firm or tips on how to use public transport, we’ll ensure you get the support you need. Also, we’ll organize a number of social events so make some time and come unwind, experience Berlin with your fellow interns.

Your first excursion will see you off to Potsdam. A short trip from Berlin, the city will have you feeling like you’re totally immersed in a bygone era. Wander through Neuer Garten Park, where world leaders gathered at the end of World War II or find a pastry and coffee in the Dutch Quarter, letting the ambiance of the Dutch-style red brick houses envelope you. Whether you’re taking in the historical significance or the fairy tale atmosphere, there’s plenty to see and do while you’re here.
Berlin is an important city for contemporary art, so an art tour is the natural choice for your second excursion. We’ll take you throughout the city to look at great works of art; from galleries to the city’s many museums, you’ll see it all. And while we’re on the way, you’ll have plenty of time to snack on some of Berlin’s delicious street food.
Clärchens Ballhaus is the perfect place for your final day trip. The 20th century ballroom is a unique experience, as it is one of the last remaining of its kind. You’ll hear an amazing selection of live music and pick what to sip from many great cocktails. So dance the night away and let the atmosphere wash over you. It’s a night to remember and the memories will last a lifetime!

You’ve finally arrived in Berlin! As soon as you step off the plane and walk through to arrivals, we’ll be there to meet you. We’ll take you to your new accommodation but then the rest of the day is yours. Whether you prefer to acclimate to your home away from home and spend the day resting or you want to hit the ground running and start exploring the subway, the choice is yours!
You’ll get an in-depth orientation on your second day. This is where you’ll get all the information relating to the coming weeks, from information about your new firm to advice on getting around in the city, take plenty of notes and ask lots of questions. You’ll meet your new friends in the evening, getting to know each other over some authentic German cuisine.
Ensure you’re on time the next morning, it’s your first day of work! Meet your new colleagues and get to know the tasks you’ll be responsible for. Dive into your new work and be sure to draw on the experience of everyone around you. They are there to help and want to see you succeed!
Starting a new job can be an overwhelming experience, so if you find yourself feeling under pressure be sure to attend a skills workshop. These sessions are designed to help you stay on top of your internship, boosting your key competencies and improving your confidence with the help of a professional coach. You’ll leave feeling ready to take on the world.
Now it’s time for your first day trip. You’ll arrive in Potsdam but you’ll feel transported back in time. Wander through the parks and lanes of this medieval city and make memories with your friends!
You’re getting into the swing of things as you approach the halfway point of your internship. You’re corresponding with architects and designers, compiling research reports, and accompanying your colleagues on site visits. It’s a great time to check in with your manager, discuss your progress over a cup of coffee.
Make some time to relax, it’s been a busy few weeks. Join your friends at one of our community dinners; chat about your experiences and dine on one of Berlin’s world-class international cuisines.

The final day trip has you visiting the golden era of Berlin. Clärchens Ballhaus is a beautiful ballroom where you’ll dance the night away, sipping tasty cocktails and making lots of memories with your friends.
Before you leave Berlin, you’ll want to attend your farewell dinner. A chance to celebrate your accomplishments, you’ll reminisce with your friends and say your goodbyes. Exchange contact details to ensure you can stay in touch.
You have a couple days left to make the most of Berlin. Cross off the last remaining items from your To Do list, whether it’s watching the sunset with a drink in hand at Klunkerkranich Bar or taking a selfie next to the Stand By Me tree in Tiergarten Park!

We select our Berlin housing partners based on stringent criteria; we ensure all accommodations meet the highest standards for safety, quality and cleanliness. You’ll likely be placed in a shared apartment or student accommodation with other interns, students, or young professionals. If you’ve come from abroad, this is a great way of making fast friends.
You’re guaranteed to have your own private bedroom complete with Wi-Fi and bedding, as well as plenty of communal spaces like a kitchen, bathroom, and more. Each location is a little bit different, but you will be close to public transport. We do our best to ensure your commute is no longer than 30-60 minutes, depending on the location of your firm.
We’ll confirm your accommodation and the location approximately 3-4 weeks before your internship is due to start. This is because of the significant demand and ever-changing availability of short-term accommodation.
