By your side as you explore will be your Beyond Community; you’ll have made fast friends in Seoul, connected by the experience of living and working in a foreign city. Our Community Team will organize social events, bi-weekly dinners and be on hand whenever you need them.

Andong Hahoe village showcases the amazing rich history of Korea. You’ll be immersed in traditional houses, shrines, museums and mask dance. With so much culture on offer, make sure you leave time for food. If weather conditions are unfavorable, fret not, we’ll take you on a temple stay experience for you to fully immerse yourself in traditional Korean culture!
The rich traditions around the way Korean food is prepared, cooked, and eaten means you’ll have plenty to experience. You’ll be enveloped in the stories of this fascinating culture while cooking with our master chef.
The Hanbok is a traditional piece of clothing that beautifully reflects the essence of Korean heritage! Let our local community experts assist you in finding the ideal Hanbok, and even help you achieve an intricate hair-do in full Korean tradition!
Throughout the duration of your program, your Seoul Community Coordinators will be by your side, providing both friendly support and a lot of enjoyable moments.
Based on a usual 6-week Real Estate internship, we’ve put together a snapshot of life in Seoul.
As your plane touches down at Incheon International Airport, you’re overcome with excitement. It’s finally time to dive into this incredible city. First, we’ll meet you at the airport and take you straight to your accommodation.
How you choose to spend your first day is up to you. Some like to sleep off the jet lag and relax in their new home; others head straight out and start exploring. Get to grips with the city on day two as you attend our comprehensive orientation. We’ll prepare you for what’s to come over the course of your program.
After orientation, meet your brand-new Beyond Community. Get to know each other over some delicious South Korean food, kick back and settle into life in Seoul.
You’ll be eager to begin work, so head on over to your new office and introduce yourself to your colleagues. After your busy first day, head out to a community dinner or social event to unwind. You might sample some traditional dishes, or visit a nearby coffee bar. Afterwards, take a walk home along the beautiful Han River.
Your real estate internship will be dynamic and challenging. It’s an industry where each day is different. You’ll need to draw on all your skills to succeed; that’s why many interns opt to take an early skills workshop. Alongside professional coaches, you’ll sharpen your existing skills and learn some new ones, ready to apply yourself anew to your program.
Lastly, begin looking forward to the trip to Andong. From its 600-year-old houses, to the retelling of the histories of the Ryu family from the Joseon Dynasty who lived in the village, you’ll have a seriously fascinating time.
You’ve settled in comfortably to your busy property and real estate internship. Your contributions are welcomed at client liaison meetings, and your skills with bespoke industry software are increasing. So take some time out with your manager to review your progress and consider your next steps.
Seoul is a bustling, ever-changing city. You’re sure to have made new friends and business relationships already. We work with a few carefully selected partners in Seoul. Mainly co-living houses, student accommodation and shared houses, we only provide options that meet our safety, quality and cleanliness standards. You’ll be living with fellow Beyond Interns, students and some young professionals. So it’s a great way to integrate with local community for those traveling from overseas.
You will get a private bedroom with shared communal spaces (kitchen, living spaces etc). All rooms come with bedding and Wi-Fi, and often have a desk. Locations can vary but you’ll always be well located and near public transport. Depending on your office location, we try to ensure your commute time is 30-60 minutes.
Due to demand for short term accommodation and ever changing availability, we usually confirm your exact accommodation and location around 3-4 weeks before your start date.
