Famous the world over, Brooklyn is immense; in fact, it’d be the third-largest American city by population if it were independent. That means that the borough is hugely diverse. A thriving hub of tech start-ups and postmodern art and design, you’ll find a distinctly contemporary feel here. Enjoy the Brooklyn Museum, where around 1.5 million pieces of art are kept; then take in the impressive Manhattan skyline from the Brooklyn bridge.
