Beyonders Share Their Experience on Our Program

“What I loved about Beyond Academy and why I choose them is because they are more flexible and more individually tailored to what each person is looking for, rather than just a generalised experience. My group and the entire Beyond community has been really welcoming. I am so lucky to be able to have this experience with people that are similar, as in we are all looking to grow personally, grow professionally and also just enjoy every moment. Everyone here has left behind the familiar and has come to the unfamiliar which can be scary, but when you have a community as good as this, it’s not scary at all.”

Hannah from the United States
PR & Journalism Intern, London Immersive Program

Your New York Community

New York has it all. Whether it’s delicious food, varied music, tech or Broadway shows, there’s truly something for everyone here. In fact, each neighborhood and borough has its own distinct style, meaning that no two experiences here will ever be the same. Skyscrapers tower above you in Manhattan as you enjoy culture, music and shopping; venture further out to discover delicatessens, bodegas, bars and more.

By your side as you navigate New York will be your Beyond Community. Along with your friends, you’ll love exploring every facet of the city.

This is where we’ll get you up to speed with everything that awaits you, from your firm to New York itself. Networking Opportunities

New York is the city of show business, and you’ll meet contacts from all over the world while you’re here. We’ll help you build your own network by inviting you to a top industry session in the heart of the city. Meet entertainment executives from all around the globe; make a good first impression and you may have just secured yourself an interview for your next job.

Brooklyn Tour

Famous the world over, Brooklyn is immense; in fact, it’d be the third-largest American city by population if it were independent. That means that the borough is hugely diverse. A thriving hub of tech start-ups and postmodern art and design, you’ll find a distinctly contemporary feel here. Enjoy the Brooklyn Museum, where around 1.5 million pieces of art are kept; then take in the impressive Manhattan skyline from the Brooklyn bridge.

Lower East Side

Take a visit down to LES as you get to grips with a lesser-known part of New York history. LES was the city’s first racially integrated neighbourhood; since then, the area has been known for its own unique blend of culture, drawn from all over the world. Enjoy a range of delicatessens and market stalls as you try fantastic food; cap off your day with a visit to a bar or restaurant as you take in LES’s famous nightlife.

Jazz Night

Jazz and New York are practically synonymous. The city has a long association with the genre, and some of the most famous faces in jazz have made their names here. From Duke Ellington to Ella Fitzgerald, experience this historic scene by enjoying some up-and-coming artists. Across cosy jazz clubs and bars, you’ll feel as if you’ve been transported back to the 1920s. Enjoy a delicious selection of drinks as you go!

Meet the New York Community team
