We have many industries available – check the industry page here.
This depends on when you apply and also the time of year. Once you have been accepted onto a program and have confirmed your place, our Role Success team will begin to work closely with you to understand your skills sets, preferences, and aspirations, so we can make sure that any opportunities we send your way will be tailored to you. We always try to secure the internship as early as possible.
Our Role Success team put in a lot of effort into understanding clearly what you are looking for and what your goals are. They will then decide on possible matches based on our company partners’ requirements and your overall suitability for the company and the role. Once they have a small number of matches they then proceed to speak with each company and confirm whether they would like to proceed with an interview.
We take great care in finding the best possible company for your internship.
The role-matching process is designed to focus on your strengths and background. So instead of having you try out for multiple roles, we take care in understanding what you’re hoping to achieve from this internship experience, then find you a role and company that we consider most suitable for you. Having said that, if we find that there is more than one role that we feel could be a great fit for you, we may also line up interviews with multiple companies.
Usually we get it right, but if you really don’t like the role we present you with and have a fair reason that you can communicate to us, then we are happy to work with you to find another role that better fits your needs.
Compensation is decided at the discretion of your internship company. This can vary from completely unpaid, to stipends, or in some cases even full pay. However we cannot guarantee any compensation on behalf of internship companies. Please note, for those taking the program overseas, it can often be the case that the visa restrictions in some countries (including certain visas in Japan and Korea) do not allow you to earn money while in the country.
Yes absolutely, the better prepared you are the higher the chance you will be successful. Don’t worry, our Role Success team will provide you with advice and support where needed.
Yes, usual hours are from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Of course your hours may vary slightly from this due to local cultural difference and the needs of your internship company.
Usually this is not a problem. While we wouldn’t suggest taking weeks off, a few days should be fine. The more notice you can give your internship company the better.
We work with over 1000 companies across 18 industries. Our partners range from exciting start-ups to large corporations. We are not able to list the names of our partners on our website but we will be able to tell you more about the types of companies during your admissions call.
While this is absolutely possible, we can’t guarantee it. Any offer of employment is at the discretion of your internship company. Put in the hard work, show your determination to learn and it may pay off.
To apply for our program, you need to complete and submit the Application Form – it only takes a few minutes. If your application meets our criteria, we will then schedule an interview (usually via phone or video call) to understand your goals in more detail. We aim to let you know if you have been accepted onto the program within the following few days.
