Experience Korean culture through four immersive activities each week: two language-focused exploration trips and two engaging community events. These sessions are agenda-free, allowing you to shape the conversation your way. Take your first day to settle in and recover from any jet lag if you’re coming from abroad! On your second day, you’ll participate in a thorough orientation session, where we’ll walk you through everything you need to know about the city and what to expect from your program in the weeks and months ahead.
After the orientation, our welcome lunch or dinner provides the ideal opportunity to connect with your fellow Beyonders. Many of our past participants have built lifelong friendships during their programs!

We work with a few carefully selected partners in Seoul. Mainly co-living houses, student accommodation and shared houses, we only provide options that meet our safety, quality and cleanliness standards. You’ll be living with fellow Beyond Interns, students and some young professionals. So it’s a great way to integrate with local community for those traveling from overseas.
You will get a private bedroom with shared communal spaces (kitchen, living spaces etc). All rooms come with bedding and Wi-Fi, and often have a desk. Locations can vary but you’ll always be well located and near public transport. Depending on your office location, we try to ensure your commute time is 30-60 minutes.
Due to demand for short term accommodation and ever changing availability, we usually confirm your exact accommodation and location around 3-4 weeks before your start date.

Each week, you’ll spend 15 hours in class, scheduled Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Additionally, there’s a 2-hour open class session once a week where you can work on homework, ask your teacher questions, and practice with classmates. Twice a week, you’ll also engage in 6 hours of language exploration, applying what you’ve learned in real-world situations—like purchasing museum tickets, ordering food at a restaurant, or interacting with locals at a nearby market. This immersive experience will help boost your practical language skills and confidence in everyday settings.
